You will be responsible for performing routine maintenance, landscaping, and gardening duties that keep our parks vibrant and inviting. Duties Perform landscape maintenance including mowing lawns, trimming shrubs, planting flowers, and watering plants using gardening tools and equipment Maintain park facilities by cleaning pathways, benches, picnic areas, restrooms and playgrounds to ensure safety and cleanliness Operate power tools such as trimmers, blowers, and small machinery safely and effectively to support groundskeeping activities Conduct routine inspections of park grounds to identify maintenance needs or safety hazards and address them promptly Support seasonal landscaping projects like planting new greenery or preparing parks for special events Use hand tools for various gardening tasks while adhering to safety protocols and best practices Qualifications Prior experience in landscape maintenance, gardening, or groundskeeping is preferred but not required; training will be provided Knowledge of horticulture principles, lawn care techniques, and landscaping practices is a plus Ability to operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently Strong attention to detail with a proactive approach to park upkeep and safety inspections Physical stamina to perform outdoor work in various weather conditions including walking, bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward supporting park operations Valid driver's license may be preferred for equipment transportation or site access Join us in making our parks safe, beautiful, and enjoyable spaces for everyone!
