Full Job Description About Us:
Golden Circle Management Group is a dedicated property management company committed to providing high-quality service and fostering strong tenant relationships across our commercial and residential portfolio.
Position Summary:
We are seeking a reliable, proactive Facilities Technician to live on-site and support daily property operations at Center of Hope II Apartments (an Affordable Housing Community). 25 hours per week; 10 of those hours are in exchange for a 2-bedroom unit $22 to $24 per hour (based on experience). Move-in after completion of 30 days of successful employment. Part-Time This role is essential in keeping the property clean, safe, and well-maintained for our residents. Responsibilities include daily upkeep of common areas, routine inspections, minor repairs, and support for property operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain trash rooms, trash chutes, and dumpster areas; move trash dumpsters to the curb for pick-up several times a week. Empty doggie relief stations and remove trash and litter from the exterior of the building and sidewalks daily. Perform small handyman repairs in units and common areas (e.g., minor plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and appliance fixes within scope of ability). Conduct routine inspections of units and common areas, reporting any issues requiring additional attention. Clean and maintain common areas including hallways, lobbies, laundry rooms, and outdoor grounds. Respond to resident service requests in a timely and professional manner. Monitor building systems and report safety hazards, maintenance concerns, or repair needs. Support the property management team with special projects as assigned.
Qualifications:
Previous maintenance or handyman experience preferred, especially in residential or multifamily housing. Ability to safely operate basic tools and cleaning equipment. General knowledge of plumbing, electrical, painting, and carpentry is a plus. Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and safety. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Reliable, punctual, and able to follow instructions. Positive, self-motivated, and customer-service oriented.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physical work such as bending, climbing, and carrying. Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Schedule:
Part-Time with flexibility to assist with occasional after-hours emergencies is preferred.
Compensation:
Competitive hourly wage based on experience. Benefits may be available depending on position status (full-time/part-time).
