Job Description

Responsible for performing general maintenance and repair work to keep the building, equipment, and facilities in good working condition. Duties include changing lights, hanging fixtures or materials, repairing bathrooms, and completing basic maintenance tasks as needed.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Change and replace light bulbs and lighting fixtures Hang signs, shelves, pictures, and other items Repair and maintain bathrooms, including sinks, toilets, and faucets Perform basic painting, patching, and repair work Inspect facilities and identify maintenance needs Use hand tools and power tools safely Keep maintenance areas clean and organized Respond to maintenance requests in a timely manner Assist with moving furniture and equipment when needed Follow safety procedures and company policies
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
Good communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to follow oral and written instruction. Ability to prioritize multiple tasks. Ability to work effectively with a team. Ability to work independently as needed to support the group effort. Basic knowledge of cleaning products or willing to learn.
QUALIFICATIONS
Six months or more related experience
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Ability to lift and carry objects weighing from 25 to 50 pounds Frequent bending, lifting, stretching and reaching both below the waist and above the head Walking in throughout the building and around area with great frequency Ability to climb stairways safely and without limitation Dexterity in eye/hand coordination, feet (foot pedals), manual (picking, pinching, holding, grasping), and wrist motion (repetitive flexion/rotation) Must be able to stand/walk for up to 10-12 hours. Frequent walking, standing, stooping, reaching and bending for more than 4 hours at a time Repetitive movement for up to 4 hours at a time involving the shoulder, hands, knees, hips and back (both upper and lower)
Pay:
From $22.00 per hour
