In this vital role, you will support the upkeep and smooth operation of our buildings and equipment, ensuring a safe, efficient, and well-maintained environment. Your enthusiasm for maintenance tasks and technical expertise will help us uphold high standards of safety, functionality, and customer satisfaction. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in a fast-paced setting while making a tangible impact on our operations. •Must be available to work weekends. Duties Assist with routine maintenance tasks across various facility areas, including electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems Perform basic repairs such as welding, residential painting, and troubleshooting equipment issues using schematics and technical diagrams Support the operation and maintenance of programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to ensure automation systems function correctly Use tools like ohmmeters and other diagnostic equipment to identify electrical faults and conduct repairs accordingly Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) Conduct inspections of facilities to identify potential hazards or needed repairs, ensuring compliance with safety standards Supervise or assist with small-scale projects, including supervising other team members or contractors when necessary Qualifications Proven experience in facilities maintenance or a related field within manufacturing or residential settings Strong mechanical knowledge complemented by electrical experience and the ability to read schematics Hands-on welding skills and experience with residential painting are highly desirable Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), CMMS software, and electrical troubleshooting tools such as ohmmeters Ability to interpret technical diagrams, schematics, and wiring diagrams accurately Excellent communication skills in English for effective teamwork and customer service interactions Prior supervising or leadership experience is a plus, demonstrating capability to guide others effectively Join us as a Maintenance Assistant to be part of a vibrant team dedicated to maintaining excellence in our facilities.
