Electronic (Using your CalCareer Account) Job Description and Duties Under the direction of the Sergeant, the Maintenance Worker is responsible for keeping the fueling station clear of hazardous conditions; sweeping/cleaning sidewalks and parking areas; irrigating and cultivating as necessary to maintain office landscaping and indoor plants; replacing inoperative indoor/outdoor light bulbs; cleaning ceilings and air ducts when necessary; emptying trash receptacles; organizing CHP handouts located in the front lobby area; cleaning/dusting light fixtures when necessary; cleaning walls of marks, dirt, and foreign objects; cleaning/dusting blinds as necessary; cleaning windows as necessary; sanitizing restroom/locker rooms; cleaning kitchen and surface of vending machines, and assisting the Automotive Technician II.
