Job Description
Beach Street Inn is seeking a proactive and energetic Seasonal Maintenance Technician to join our team for the Summer! In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and upkeep of our hotel facilities. Your enthusiasm and technical skills will help maintain a safe, functional environment that exceeds guest expectations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your maintenance expertise while contributing to a welcoming guest experience. Responsibilities Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on hotel facilities, including electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and HVAC systems Troubleshoot and repair equipment using schematics, electrical diagrams, and technical manuals Conduct welding and residential painting tasks as needed to maintain property appearance and safety standards Operate tools such as ohmmeters and other testing devices to diagnose issues accurately Assist with facilities maintenance projects, including carpentry, plumbing repairs, and electrical upgrades Follow safety protocols and document maintenance activities using CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) software Supervise or assist with subcontractors or team members during larger maintenance projects when required Requirements Basic electrical experience with an understanding of troubleshooting techniques Mechanical knowledge related to building systems and equipment repair Experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) is a plus but not required Skilled in residential painting, and general facilities maintenance tasks Strong communication skills in English for clear documentation and teamwork Prior experience in maintenance or manufacturing environments is preferred Demonstrated customer service orientation with a positive attitude towards guest satisfaction Join us as a Seasonal Maintenance Technician and be part of a dynamic team committed to maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety!
