About the role Support building care, resident suites, and common areas to keep the community safe, clean, and comfortable. Assist with preventive maintenance, minor repairs, and safety programs with great customer service. What you'll do Complete work orders and routine repairs; assist with painting Help with safety checks, drills, and documentation Maintain tools, supplies, and equipment logs Support housekeeping tasks and grounds care as needed Communicate clearly with residents and team on progress Skills & attributes Use of hand/power tools and safe work practices Problem‑solving and follow‑through on tasks Organization, documentation, and basic computer skills Customer‑focused communication with residents Adaptability and teamwork Relatable experience Facilities, hotel, multi‑unit residential, or healthcare maintenance Preventive maintenance programs and safety compliance Hands‑on roles in technical/industrial settings Qualifications At least 21 years of age; valid driver's license with qualifying abstract Current negative TB test; able to pass background check Ability to lift/carry up to 50 lbs with assistance and be on feet CPR/First Aid or ability to obtain Time management and independent work ethic Why join Highgate We offer more than a job—we offer a mission. 401(k) with matching Employee referral bonuses Competitive pay: (see above) Full benefits package Growth pathways and internal promotions Positive, inclusive, values-driven culture Join a workplace that values heart, purpose, and community.
