Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and professional person to join our team at South Platte Rehab. The maintenance assistant supports the maintenance department in ensuring the facility, equipment and grounds are safe, clean, and well maintained. Safely transport residents to medical appointments, and facility sponsored events. Duties Assist with routine maintenance and repair of facility equipment, furniture, and building systems. Perform preventative maintenance tasks as assigned. Complete work orders in a timely and professional manner. Assist with plumbing, electrical, painting, carpentry, and general repair projects within scope of training. Conduct routine inspections of the facility and grounds to identify maintenance needs and safety concerns. Maintain facility grounds, including snow removal, lawn care, and trash removal as needed. Ensure compliance with safety, fire, and environmental regulations. Assist with moving equipment, furniture, and supplies throughout the facility. Maintain maintenance tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean and organized manner. Respond promptly to maintenance emergencies and urgent repair requests. Support infection control and life safety programs, particularly in healthcare and long-term care settings. Document completed work and report maintenance issues to the Maintenance Director Safely transport residents to medical appointments. Assist residents with entering and exiting vehicles, including proper use of wheelchairs,lifts,and mobility devices.
Pay:
$16.00 - $19.00 per hour
