Full Job Description Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Person to join our team. As a Maintenance Person, you will be responsible for performing a variety of maintenance and repair tasks to ensure the smooth operation of our facilities. This is a vital role in our organization, and we are looking for someone who is detail-oriented, reliable, and has a strong mechanical knowledge. Additionally, this position is currently part-time but may increase to full time depending on hotel occupancy and needs.

Duties:

• Conduct routine inspections of our facilities to identify maintenance needs
• Perform repairs and maintenance tasks, such as fixing plumbing issues, electrical problems, and HVAC systems
• Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and perform necessary repairs
• Maintain and repair machinery and equipment
• Fabricate parts when needed
• Supervise external contractors when necessary
• Respond to maintenance requests in a timely manner
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe work environment

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Strong mechanical knowledge and experience in facilities maintenance
• Proficiency in reading electrical schematics
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing
• Customer service skills
• Strong leadership abilities
• MUST be CPO certified
