This position works under the direction of and reports directly to the Director of Property Management.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Supports and follows the agency's mission, values, policies, safety practices, and operational goals. Works collaboratively with management and staff to uphold customer service standards and individualized care. Ensures compliance with Liberty administrative procedures and the employee handbook. Assesses, cleans, and maintains program spaces, residential units, grounds, equipment, furnishings, and vehicles in accordance with established procedures. Maintains sanitary, safe, and compliant environments to prevent disease, vermin, and injuries, including seasonal tasks such as snow removal. Organizes and manages assigned inventories and completes tasks that may require physical activity or lifting. Follows all safety and health policies and completes required documentation, reporting, and work orders accurately and on time. Supports water-damage prevention efforts by monitoring all areas and maintaining oversight of water and leak detection systems. Interacts respectfully with clients, staff, and community partners and protects client and consumer rights. Participates in supervision, agency meetings, workgroups, and performs other duties as assigned by Director of Property Management and Executive Director. Monday-Friday 35 Hours Weekly, and weekends as necessary.
Preferred Qualifications:
HS diploma or equivalent preferred. 1-2 years related experience. Creativity, flexibility and ability to work in a changeable and fast-paced environment. Knowledge of maintenance and cleaning practices is strongly preferred. Strong organizational, written, and computer knowledge and skills a plus. Valid CT driver's license required. Bilingual capabilities a plus. Three strong work-related references (upon request). Liberty Community Services, Inc. (Liberty) is an equal opportunity employer. Pay:
$17.00 - $20.00 per hour
