Maintenance & Facilities Assistant (Part-Time) La Creare Schools Coral Springs, FL Job Details Part-time $14 - $15 an hour 5 hours ago Qualifications Spanish Food handling Teamwork English Attention to detail Full Job Description Overview La Creare Schools is seeking a dependable, energetic, and detail-oriented Maintenance & Facilities Assistant to help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our students and staff. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys staying active, takes pride in their work, and is looking for opportunities to grow within a school community. Schedule Monday - Friday 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM Part-time Primary Responsibilities Maintain the cleanliness and organization of both school levels (upstairs and downstairs) throughout the day. Clean and sanitize classrooms, hallways, bathrooms, offices, common areas, and learning spaces. Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, disinfect surfaces, empty trash, and restock supplies as needed. Monitor and maintain the cleanliness of entrances, outdoor play areas, and shared spaces. Set up and break down classrooms or event spaces when needed. Report maintenance or safety concerns to administration. Assist with organizing storage areas and keeping maintenance supplies stocked. Learn and assist with preparing, serving, and cleaning up student meals following school procedures. Support the administrative team with daily operational needs to ensure the school runs smoothly. Qualifications Spanish required (English is a plus). Previous cleaning, maintenance, janitorial, or facilities experience preferred but not required. Able to work independently while also being a collaborative team member. Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness. Reliable, punctual, and professional. Comfortable in a fast-paced school environment with young children. Able to lift up to 35 pounds , bend, climb stairs frequently, and remain active throughout the shift.
