Position may require employee to operate motor vehicle and power driven equipment. Perform related work as required. Essential Job Duties The following duties are normal for this position. Other duties may be required and assigned. Perform routine maintenance on water and wastewater distribution systems, lift stations and/or Water Treatment Plant. Install and repair water distribution, sanitary sewer lines, lift stations, manholes, and all related facilities. Dig and refill ditches, load dirt and construction materials. Perform lawn maintenance activities. Operate light power equipment. Minimum Qualifications High school graduation or possession of an acceptable equivalency diploma; Two (2) years of experience in heavy manual labor and the use of hand and light power tools.

LICENSES, CERTIFICATIONS OR REGISTRATIONS

: Must possess a valid Florida Driver's License with a satisfactory driving record Knowledge of materials, methods, practices and equipment used in the water and wastewater field. Ability to communicate verbally. Basic Mathematical skills. Physical condition, strength and agility commensurate with the demand of the position, occasionally under adverse weather conditions. Ability to work rotating shifts as applied.
