Job Description
Candidates should be service-minded, energetic, and able to work well in a team environment. Job Summary The Grounds & Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining the treatment center's buildings, grounds, and facilities to ensure a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for clients and staff. This position requires a versatile individual with experience in general maintenance, landscaping, painting, and cleaning.
Please note:
We have multiple properties throughout Fort Lauderdale, and this position is expected to travel between all locations as needed. Key Responsibilities Facility Maintenance Perform routine maintenance and repairs on plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems Conduct preventative maintenance to avoid potential issues Maintain and repair interior and exterior structures, including doors, windows, fixtures, and furniture Painting Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, patching, or priming as necessary Apply paint, stain, varnish, or other finishes to interior and exterior surfaces Maintain tools and materials for painting jobs Groundskeeping Perform landscaping duties including mowing, trimming, planting, and watering Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of outdoor areas, parking lots, walkways, and recreational spaces Remove debris and leaves as needed Cleaning & Facility Support General cleaning of patient rooms and public spaces Assist with special cleaning projects Help with setup and breakdown of furniture and equipment for events or meetings Safety & Compliance Inspect facilities regularly to ensure safety standards are met Address and report hazardous conditions promptly Ensure compliance with OSHA and other applicable regulations Additional Duties Respond promptly to urgent maintenance requests Collaborate with vendors and contractors when specialized work is needed Maintain records of maintenance activities and supply inventory Requirements Must be legally authorized to work in the USA Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred due to travel between properties Ability to lift, bend, and perform physical labor as needed Starting immediately.Job Type:
