In this energetic role, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of maintenance tasks, including landscape care, equipment operation, and general repairs. Your efforts will directly contribute to creating a safe, attractive, and functional environment for staff, visitors, and the community. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your mechanical knowledge and landscaping skills in a dynamic setting. Duties Perform landscape maintenance including mowing, tree trimming, gardening, and lawn care to keep outdoor areas vibrant and well-kept Operate hand tools, power tools, excavators, and other construction equipment safely and efficiently for various repair and installation projects Maintain hardscape features such as pathways, patios, and retaining walls through routine inspections and repairs Conduct snow plowing during winter months to ensure safe access around the facility Assist with irrigation system installation, inspection, and repairs to promote healthy plant growth Support tree care activities including pruning, planting, and removal as needed Perform general building maintenance tasks such as fixing fixtures, repairing surfaces, and ensuring safety standards are met Qualifications Demonstrated mechanical knowledge with experience using hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment like excavators Knowledge of landscaping practices including mowing, lawn care, gardening, tree care, and landscape maintenance techniques Experience in irrigation systems management and snow plowing is preferred in electricity Ability to perform physical tasks outdoors in various weather conditions with attention to safety protocols Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to maintenance challenges Prior experience in horticulture or groundskeeping is a plus Valid driver's license with the ability to operate equipment such as excavators or similar machinery is desirable Join us in maintaining a vibrant environment where your skills make a real difference!
