Maintenance Worker

Job Overview:

As a Maintenance Staff Member, you will ensure that all mechanical systems and equipment are operational and that common areas are kept clean, aesthetically appealing, and disinfected.

Responsibilities:

Perform general maintenance tasks, including plumbing, drywall repair, painting, appliance repair, pressure cleaning, and minor electrical troubleshooting. Implement and manage weekly heavy cleaning programs, scheduling and executing deep cleaning for assigned areas. Monitor and maintain grounds by removing debris and ensuring garbage areas are clean and safe. Complete daily work orders and maintain assigned equipment in good working condition. Paint common areas and advise the manager on areas needing touch-ups. Follow safety procedures and maintain a safe work environment. Utilize new equipment properly and adhere to safety protocols.

Qualifications:

Prior experience in high-rise property maintenance is preferred. Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently. Must be able to read, write, and speak English. Authorized to work in the USA. High school diploma or equivalent preferred. 2 years of general experience in building trades or maintenance. Effective written and verbal communication skills. Strong customer service and interpersonal skills

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform various physical tasks. Maintain a valid Florida driver's license.

Pay:

$20.00 - $22.00 per hour
