Reports to the Facilities Manager and General Manager. They ensures that all mechanical systems and equipment are functional and properly maintained in a clean and aesthetically appealing condition. The Maintenance Staff also provides exemplary service in a manner consistent with the values and mission of Lighthouse Point Yacht Club. They performs all responsibilities while demonstrating outstanding customer service skills as it relates to this function. This includes working interdepartmentally, as well as with our members and guests.

Duties:

Respond promptly and courteously to all service requests. Support a safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols and assisting in hazard mitigation. Keep maintenance workshops and storage areas organized, clean, and secure. Pressure washing surfaces on a regular maintenance schedule Painting various surfaces/areas as needed Assist in basic landscaping needs Carry out general repairs. Regularly dispose of litter and debris from property grounds. Clean walkways, common areas, and entry points daily. Replace light bulbs as necessary throughout the property. Oversee the upkeep of pool areas including pressure washing the deck. Inspect and maintain cleanliness and security of all storage areas daily. Promptly report hazardous maintenance conditions to supervisors. Perform other tasks as assigned by the Facilities Manager or other Management Experience & Qualifications Must be at least 18 years old and able to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays Minimum 1 year of experience in facility maintenance This job description may not be all-inclusive, and employees are expected to perform all other duties as assigned and directed by management. Physical Demands Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout facilities for extended periods Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions

Pay:

$18.00 - $20.00 per hour
