The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in facilities maintenance and demonstrate proficiency in various technical skills. This role involves supporting the maintenance team in ensuring that all equipment and facilities are functioning optimally, contributing to a safe and efficient working environment.
Schedule:
Wednesday-Sunday Responsibilities Perform routine maintenance tasks on machinery and equipment, ensuring optimal performance. Assist in troubleshooting and repairing electrical systems, utilizing knowledge of programmable logic controllers and ohmmeters. Conduct welding tasks as needed for repairs or modifications. Utilize mechanical knowledge to interpret schematics and assist with machinery setup. Support residential painting projects to maintain aesthetic standards of facilities. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS). Provide excellent customer service by addressing facility-related concerns promptly and effectively. Supervise junior staff or trainees when required, demonstrating leadership skills and promoting a collaborative work environment. Collaborate with manufacturing teams to ensure that all equipment meets operational standards. Experience Proven experience in facilities maintenance or a related field is preferred. Familiarity with programmable logic controllers, electrical systems, welding techniques, and mechanical repairs is essential. Previous experience in supervising staff or leading projects is advantageous. Strong communication skills in English are required for effective collaboration within the team and with other departments. A background in customer service will be beneficial for addressing client needs related to facility maintenance.
