Apartment Complex Maintenance Worker

Job Summary We are seeking a proactive and skilled Apartment Complex Maintenance Worker to ensure the safety, functionality, and aesthetic appeal of our residential community. In this dynamic role, you will perform a wide range of maintenance tasks, troubleshoot issues, and oversee repairs to create a comfortable and well-maintained environment for residents. Your expertise in facilities maintenance, mechanical systems, electrical work, and customer service will be essential in delivering exceptional living experiences. Duties will include:

Plumbing:

-Repair and or replacement of faucets, toilets, bathtubs, garbage disposals, water heaters, valves piping and resolve sewage back ups when present.

Electrical:

-Repair, replacement or installation of power switches, wall outlets, ceiling lights, fuses and breakers.

Drywall repair:

-Repair of holes in walls and ceilings caused by normal wear and tear most commonly performed between the time a tenant vacates a unit and a new renter assumes occupancy.

Painting:

-Minor touch-ups following damage repair and new coats of paint applied to unit walls, ceilings, doors, and baseboards between the time a tenant vacates a unit and a new renter assumes occupancy.

Cleaning/housekeeping:

-Daily cleaning of common areas and building hallways if necessary (must be able to lift heavy items. Cleaning of units before occupancy if necessary.

Service & Repairs:

-Provide professional and prompt service to residents request for general repairs.

Timing and scheduling:

-Effectively complete all maintenance requests in a timely manner and in the order by which they were received or by level of urgency. Must be a team player who responds well to direct orders.

Pay:

From $22.00 per hour
