Job Description Help for Job Description. Opens a new window. Perform maintenance, repair, and service work for a boat lift installation and service company at customer sites and marina locations. Dismantle machines and remove parts for repairusing hand tools, chain falls, jacks, cranes, or hoists. Reassemble machines after the completion of repair or maintenance work. Record production, repair, and machine maintenanceinformation accurately. Lubricate or apply adhesives or other materials to machines, machine parts, or other equipment according to specified procedures. Install, replace, or changemachine parts and attachments in accordance with production, manufacturer, and safety specifications. Install and service boat lift systems, motors, cables, pulleys, and structuralcomponents. Inspect equipment to identify mechanical defects, corrosion, or wear. Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical malfunctions and perform corrective repairs. Perform routinepreventive maintenance to ensure proper operation and longevity of boat lift equipment. Follow all safety procedures and company policies while working in marine and outdoorenvironments. Maintain tools, vehicles, and equipment in proper working condition.
Requirements:
24 months of experience in the job offered. Alternatively, the employer accepts 24 months of experience in any position working with repair or maintenance of industrial machinery +OSHA 10 Hour Construction Training Certification.
