Facilities Maintenance Assistant

Job Summary The Facilities Maintenance Assistant position is responsible for ensuring the functionality and safety of facilities through regular maintenance and repair tasks. This role requires a proactive individual who can manage various maintenance duties. The ideal candidate will possess a diverse skill set in facilities maintenance. Duties Assist with work orders Repair, install drywall and paint - minor carpentry Assist with troubleshooting equipment Perform minor repairs Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic instruments Perform other duties as assigned by leadership. Skills Proficiency in English for clear communication with staff and residents Experience in painting techniques and best practices Knowledge of facilities maintenance procedures and standards Excellent customer service skills to foster positive relationships with residents and staff Able to lift heavy boxes This role is essential for maintaining the integrity of our facilities while providing a safe and pleasant environment for all occupants.
