The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in facilities maintenance, with the ability to perform a variety of tasks to ensure the smooth operation of our hotel. This role is essential for maintaining the comfort and safety of our guests, requiring a proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to excellent customer service. This role reports to the Chief Engineer. Responsibilities Be aware of hotel facilities to identify maintenance needs and safety hazards by reporting or fixing as needed. Completing daily assignments including rooms preventative maintenance Perform electrical repairs and installations, ensuring compliance with safety standards. Utilize tools for electrical diagnostics and troubleshooting. Repairs as necessary to maintain operational efficiency throughout the entire hotel and guest rooms. Manage maintenance requests through property systems application. Respond promptly to guest requests and concerns, providing exceptional customer service. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs performed using property systems application. Collaborate with your supervisor and other departments to ensure timely completion of maintenance projects. Address issues promptly to avoid further damage. Requirements Experience in hotel facilities maintenance or a related field. Strong electrical skills with the ability to troubleshoot issues effectively. Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively in English. Spanish is a plus. Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting, standing for long periods, and working in various environments. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. A proactive attitude towards maintaining hotel facilities and enhancing guest experiences.
