We're looking for a dependable Maintenance Worker II to help maintain roads, parks, landscapes, athletic fields, and public facilities.
  • Operate trucks, tractors, mowers, edgers, and other equipment
  • Repair roads, install water meters, and maintain public infrastructure
  • Maintain parks, sports fields, trees, and landscaped areas
  • Work with a team that keeps our community looking its best
  • During slack periods an employee may be required to pick up debris and clean areas in and around shop areas, office buildings and parking lots using shovels, pitchforks and other hand tools.
  • Operates pickup trucks, 5 and 12-yard dump trucks, flatbed trucks and patch trucks for maintenance activities.
Pours concrete; fills pavement cracks with asphalt; shovels and rakes asphalt paving mix to repair roads.
What You'll Need:
At least 1 year of labor or maintenance experience Ability to perform physical work outdoors in varying weather conditions Experience using hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment CDL may be required depending on assignment Knowledge of tools, methods and materials used in general maintenance work. Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions.
Pay:
$18.54 per hour
