Job Description

Temporary ( with the possibility of permanent employment ) Maintenance Worker - Outdoor Property (Siesta Key Condominium Association) A well-established condominium association located on Siesta Key is seeking a dependable and hardworking Maintenance Worker to assist with outdoor property upkeep. This is a temporary position with the opportunity to transition into permanent employment based on performance and operational needs.
Position Overview:
This role involves hands-on outdoor work in a physically demanding environment, including exposure to heat and varying weather conditions. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, reliable, and takes pride in maintaining a clean, safe, and well-kept property. Outdoor maintenance roles commonly include grounds care, minor repairs, and equipment operation to keep properties in top condition.
Schedule:
Monday through Friday 7:30 AM - 3:30 PM Flexible hours available Full-time or part-time options
Compensation:
Starting at $19+ per hour, depending on experience
Key Responsibilities:
Perform general outdoor maintenance, cleanup, and property upkeep Assist with groundskeeping, including debris removal and basic landscaping Support maintenance staff with manual labor and project work Operate tools and equipment safely and efficiently Identify and report maintenance issues as they arise
Preferred Skills & Experience:
Experience in electrical, plumbing, irrigation, machinery, or construction strongly preferred Ability to perform physical labor and work in hot outdoor conditions Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment Strong work ethic with the ability to work independently or as part of a team
Requirements:
Reliable and punctual Ability to lift, carry, and perform physically demanding tasks Comfortable working outdoors in Florida heat
