Full Job Description Description:
Nova Tallahassee is seeking a Temporary Maintenance Assistant to support our maintenance team during the summer turn season. This position assists with preparing apartment homes for incoming residents and helps ensure the community is clean, safe, and move-in ready. Position Details Temporary seasonal position Full-time hours may be available during turn season

Nova Tallahassee, Tallahassee, FL Key Responsibilities Assist with apartment turns and unit preparation Remove trash, debris, and unwanted items from units Complete basic painting, cleaning, and touch-up tasks Assist with furniture assembly, moving, and installation Support maintenance technicians with repairs and work orders Maintain cleanliness of common areas and exterior grounds Help organize maintenance supplies and equipment Follow all safety procedures and company policies Perform other duties as assigned in support of turn operations
Requirements:
Minimum Qualifications Previous building maintenance experience in a multi-unit, residential, or student housing environment preferred Previous maintenance, construction, painting, or general labor experience preferred Ability to troubleshoot and repair building systems independently Strong work ethic and reliability Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 50 pounds without assistance Perform physical work throughout the day Ability to stand, walk, climb stairs and ladders for extended periods Work in confined spaces and at heights as needed Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions Exposure to dust, dirt, chemicals, and equipment noise Equal Opportunity Employer We are proud to be an Equal Employment Opportunity employer.
