Job Overview We are seeking a proactive and skilled Maintenance Worker to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal operation and safety of our facilities through hands-on maintenance, repairs, and inspections. Your expertise will help maintain a safe, efficient, and well-functioning environment, supporting our commitment to excellence. The ideal candidate is energetic, detail-oriented, and possesses a broad range of technical skills including electrical, mechanical, and plumbing knowledge. This position offers an exciting opportunity to lead maintenance activities, troubleshoot complex issues, and contribute to the continuous improvement of our facilities. Responsibilities Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenancnto ensure safety and operational efficiency. Conduct mechanical repairs including, plumbing, HVAC servicing, and general facilities maintenance tasks. Read and interpret technical schematics and mechanical drawings to accurately diagnose issues. Lead small teams or supervise contractors during specialized repairs or projects such as residential painting or structural repairs. Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations during all maintenance activities. Assist in the installation of new equipment or upgrades to existing systems to improve facility performance. Provide excellent customer service by responding quickly to maintenance requests from internal teams or tenants. Use electrical testing tools such as ohmmeters to diagnose circuit issues effectively. Supervise or mentor junior maintenance staff when necessary, fostering a collaborative team environment focused on continuous improvement. Qualifications Proven experience in facilities maintenance with a strong background in electrical work, mechanical repairs, and troubleshooting complex systems. Ability to read blueprints and schematics accurately for effective repairs. Mechanical knowledge related to HVAC systems, plumbing, and residential painting. Strong understanding of safety protocols and regulatory standards applicable to facilities maintenance. Excellent communication skills in English for clear documentation and collaboration with team members. Supervisory or leadership experience is a plus; ability to coordinate tasks efficiently across teams or contractors.
