Job Description

STS Technical Services is hiring Maintenance Utility Workers in Atlanta, Georgia . In this role, you will support Engine Maintenance operations by assisting with the processing, transportation, cleaning, stocking, tagging, and handling of aircraft parts while helping maintain shop equipment, facilities, and operational readiness. This position is ideal for candidates with strong attention to detail, a safety-focused mindset, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work in a fast-paced aircraft maintenance environment. Position Summary The Maintenance Utility Worker supports aircraft engine maintenance operations by transporting parts between departments, maintenance shops, stockrooms, and local vendors. This role also assists with parts cleaning, facility cleaning, shop support, inventory restocking, and the proper tagging and routing of unserviceable parts. Team members will operate shop vehicles including road trucks, electric carts, and forklifts. They will also use approved detergents, cleaning solutions, media equipment, and established procedures to complete Ground Support Equipment and shop-related functions. Duties & Responsibilities Support Engine Maintenance operations by assisting with the processing, transportation, cleaning, and handling of aircraft parts Help achieve departmental goals and operational objectives through reliable shop support Maintain the condition and cleanliness of shop equipment and facilities Operate shop vehicles including road trucks, electric carts, and forklifts Transport and deliver parts between departments, maintenance shops, stockrooms, and local vendors Restock parts daily in designated stockrooms Tag unserviceable parts and coordinate shipment to the appropriate shop or vendor Label stockroom boxes with part numbers and pricing when available Use approved detergents, cleaning solutions, media equipment, and established procedures Perform Ground Support Equipment and shop-related functions as assigned Assist with parts transportation, parts cleaning, and facility cleaning Learn all maintenance utility processes within the shop environment Provide support wherever needed to help ensure operational success Learn and utilize Delta's

computer systems applicable to assigned responsibilities Work as part of a team while maintaining strong attention to safety, accuracy, and compliance Identify process improvements and cost-saving opportunities when possible Follow all operational procedures and safety requirements Qualifications High school diploma or GED required Ability to read, write, and comprehend English Ability to understand information contained in technical manuals Basic understanding of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems as they relate to aircraft maintenance operations Ability to safely operate shop vehicles including forklifts, electric carts, and road trucks Ability to lift up to 70 lbs. and meet the physical requirements necessary to perform essential job functions Strong multitasking skills Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment under pressure Team-oriented mindset Strong attention to detail Strong commitment to safety compliance Minimum Requirements Must possess a valid driver's license Must be at least 18 years of age Must successfully pass an extensive background check Must successfully pass a drug screening Must successfully pass an audiogram Must be legally authorized to work in the United States Must be willing and able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays EEOC Statement STS Technical Services is an equal opportunity employer.
