Maintenance Apprentice

Maintenance Apprentice Automation Personnel Services is looking for a Maintenance Apprentice for a company based in Marietta, Georgia . In this role, you will work alongside experienced maintenance professionals while learning both facility and machine maintenance skills in a hands-on environment. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with basic mechanical or electrical aptitude who wants to build a long-term career in maintenance. The company is looking for someone eager to learn, grow, and develop into a full maintenance technician role through on-the-job training. Pay Rate $20.00 per hour Schedule and Hours Monday through Friday, 6:00 am to 5:00 pm Maintenance Apprentice Duties and Responsibilities Assist with basic facility maintenance tasks including changing light bulbs, minor plumbing repairs, and general upkeep Complete machine inspection checklists and assist with preventative maintenance tasks Support experienced maintenance staff with machine and facility repairs Learn to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems through hands-on training Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment Assist with additional maintenance duties as training progresses Maintenance Apprentice Qualifications and Requirements Basic mechanical or electrical aptitude required Strong desire to build a long-term career in maintenance Previous hands-on experience with repairs, maintenance, automotive work, shop class, or similar experience is a plus Valid driver's license with a clean driving record required Comfortable driving between Marietta, Morrow, and Dacula after hire using a company vehicle Drug screening and background checks are required. Ability to lift up to 75lbs unassisted (in-office lifting assessment required) and stand for extended periods.
