Because of that, we are on the hunt for go-getters ready to embark on a career adventure with us! We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Supervisor to join our team. The Maintenance Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing and performing a variety of technical and mechanical tasks to ensure our community meets our standards for cleanliness, safety, and functionality. Essential Duties and Responsibilities The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following: Compete work orders generated by residents for regular maintenance of residential apartment homes and other areas on the property to include building exteriors, building interiors and common areas. Perform HVAC, small appliances, plumbing, electrical and other repairs in residential loft apartments and other areas on the property. Part of a rotating schedule of being available for emergency calls and respond to those according to the company's policy on after-hour emergency calls. Completes monthly Preventative Maintenance procedures Diagnosing the source or cause of the defect or problem and making proper repairs. Completes the "make-ready" process to prepare vacant apartments for leasing and new move-ins by completing the pre-move-out inspection, creating a "punch" list of maintenance work needed, scheduling vendors and contractors as needed, obtaining needed supplies and materials, completing all maintenance tasks, and inspecting completed work.
Maintenance Requirements:
Experience:
Minimum of 1 year of multifamily facilities/apartment maintenance (property management). Experience with electrical, plumbing and HVAC. Strong HVAC knowledge and experience preferred. EPA certification preferred. Possession of personal tools, required. Must have reliable transportation Able to push, pull and lift over 50lbs. Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing. Must have proper tools, meters, gauges and power tools required for all trades Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license and adequate car insurance Must have reliable transportation Must be available for weekend, holiday and evening work as needed Travel and overnight stays are limited but may be required Must always maintain a professional appearance and demeanor Education And Experience High school diploma required and professional knowledge of all trades/maintenance discipline. Universal type EPA Certification preferred Swimming Pool Certification preferred College degree and/or certifications are a plus. Here are just a few of our
