(PGI) is a growing operations and maintenance (O&M) and building services firm located in San Francisco and Sacramento, CA. We have project sites and staff at various locations across the state supporting government and private sector customers. We are currently looking for a full-time General Maintenance Worker to support a federal building located at 300 Ala Moana Blvd., Honolulu, HI. This position will be based on-site at this location. This position is attached to the Collective Bargaining Agreement ("CBA") with

LOCAL UNION 1186 INTERNATIONAL BROTHERHOOD

of

ELECTRICAL WORKERS AFL-CIO.

This role is responsible for performing general maintenance services in accordance with the GSA contract and requirements. Additionally, this position will have the responsibilities outlined in the CBA and as follows: Changing of air filters in spaces where no fans or machinery are in operation. General cleaning of engineering spaces. Cleaning and painting of non-operating mechanical equipment which has been shut down, locked out and tagged by a Journeyman Engineer. Perform general laborer's work as assigned by the Project Manager / Working Lead Engineer or Lead Engineer, such as loading, unloading, moving materials, and running errands for the Engineering Department. Lamp replacement and cleaning of fixtures (does not include repair or replacement of fixtures, electric cords, outlets, or ballasts). Performs Lamp inspections, restroom inspections, meter readings, utility closet inspections. Support other buildings managed by the company as needed. Dislodge commodes and minor drains (not to include mechanical sanitary pipe cleaning). Adjust doors and repair door jambs. Hangs and removes pictures. Replaces stained or damaged ceiling or carpet tiles. Hangs bathroom dispensers. Operates forklift. Post miscellaneous signs and posters in public spaces. Repairs window blinds. Changes clocks. Changes exterior lights.

Requirements and qualifications:

• Highschool diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in the maintenance and operation of a HVAC system and related equipment in a commercial, industrial, or governmental building or institution.
• Proficiency in the use of hand tools in the general repair and maintenance of building systems and equipment.
• Ability to successfully complete a background check

Compensation:

In accordance with the CBA.
