SUMMARY The Maintenance Worker is responsible for repairing and maintaining the physical structures of GWIH facilities and retail stores through a wide range of building maintenance activities. The Maintenance Worker performs routine and minor repairs in carpentry, painting, masonry, plumbing, electrical systems, flooring, and general facility upkeep while ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with company standards. The Maintenance Worker also coordinates maintenance requests, maintains accurate records, manages vendor relationships when needed, and helps ensure facilities remain safe, functional, and well-maintained for staff and customers.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
 include the following. Review and manage maintenance work orders in MaintainX; coordinate repairs with facility staff, store managers, and vendors before work begins. Maintain accurate records of planned and completed maintenance in accordance with the GWIH Maintenance Program; provide job status updates and report delays promptly. Estimate labor, materials, parts, and supply requirements; assist with vendor scope development and cost negotiations. Perform general carpentry, construction, and repair work, including fixtures, partitions, doors, flooring, framework, trim, and structural woodwork. Complete painting, patching, finishing, and minor building repairs, including ceiling, wall, floor, concrete, electrical, plumbing, and drainage system maintenance. Install, assemble, repair, and maintain building components, equipment, and systems; inspect for hazards and notify management of major repair needs. Conduct all work safely within skill level limitations, complying with PPE requirements, safety standards, and company policies. EDUCATION and/or
EXPERIENCE
At least two years of related experience.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Certificate of course/technical training completion. Valid driver's license and traffic abstract that meet's company guidelines. Access to an insured vehicle with current safety and registration.
