Maintenance Worker

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Person to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing routine maintenance tasks to ensure the smooth operation of our facilities. The role requires a strong understanding of maintenance practices and a willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies. The successful applicant will have a proven track record of maintaining residential and commercial properties to the highest standards. • Conduct regular inspections of the facility to identify potential issues and perform routine maintenance tasks as needed.
• Use a variety of tools and equipment, including an ohmmeter, to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues.
• Utilize schematics to understand the layout of the facility and identify potential problems.
• Fabricate and repair various components, including plumbing and electrical fixtures.
• Work with logic controllers to diagnose and repair electronic and computer-based systems.
• Ensure all work is carried out safely and in accordance with relevant health and safety regulations.
• Participate in regular team meetings to discuss ongoing projects and share knowledge and expertise.

• Perform mid-level complexity maintenance and repairs.
• Knowledge of electrical systems and the ability to use an ohmmeter.
• Strong understanding of facilities maintenance and the ability to fabricate and repair components as needed.
• Ability to do repair work involving plumbing, appliances and HVAC
• Vehicle and equipment operations is required.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Fluency in English, with the ability to read and understand technical documents and manuals.
• Ability to train other maintenance staff as necessary.
