Job Description
Under general supervision, works with supervisors, engineers and operations to optimize work planning; including but not limited to projects, corrective, preventative, and predictive maintenance utilizing a computerized maintenance management program. Graduation from an accredited college or university with an Associate's Degree; with a focus in mechanical, HVAC, electrical trade or a related field; and Three (3) years of experience with routine to complex repair and maintenance of mechanical/electrical equipment; or Any equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job.

Utilizes, adapts and maintains a preventative maintenance program. Plans, prioritizes, and identifies resources and skills required, materials needed and work steps necessary to complete the job. Maintains detailed records of work to be performed, along with time and material used and/or required. Releases preventive maintenance work orders and verifies they are prepared for scheduling. Evaluates completed work orders to determine appropriate time allowances and materials used and modifies work plans as needed. Communicates with equipment manufacturers and vendors regarding all stages of equipment life for purposes of maintenance, repair or replacement. Implements standard maintenance principles and practices. Maintains bill of material records, drawings, reference books, permits, and lockout procedures for equipment. Maintains equipment, tools, and work area in a safe, clean and orderly condition. Ensures the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of the Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) database. Assists in the development of safety policies and procedures and shall play a key role in ensuring employee use of safe work practices.
