Maintenance Coordinator Boise Rescue Mission Ministries - 3.8 Boise, ID Job Details 2 hours ago Qualifications High school diploma or GED Full Job Description Boise Rescue Mission Ministries is seeking full - time experienced Maintenance Tech candidates to join the maintenance team. The facility maintenance staff must hold to the doctrine and constitution/by-laws of the Mission. The facility maintenance staff must be a regular attendee of a local church and be willing to sign and adhere to the Mission's Statement of Faith.
Job Summary:
The position reports to the Director of Maintenance and will provide support in the day-to-day building maintenance, operational activities and repairs at all Mission facilities. Duties and Responsibilities (including but not limited to): Performs hands-on maintenance related activities including: painting, plumbing, electrical, patching walls, repairing doors, windows, locks, etc. Communicates regularly with Director of Maintenance to ensure good two-way communication concerning maintenance issues. Carries out projects that improve efficiency and/or reduce operating costs. Utilizes computerized maintenance management system for tracking work orders and maintenance history of facilities
Knowledge/skills:
Requires sound judgment regarding use of equipment, tools, material, and manpower. Proven general "handy-man" talents and skills e.g. excellent troubleshooting, problem solving and follow- through skills. Skill in operation of motorized vehicles, power and hand tools and equipment for vehicle and mechanical system work; mechanic's tools including jacks, hydraulic lifts, air tools, and other tools required for repairs and routine maintenance. Ability to prioritize requests, follow procedures and keep accurate records. Ability to interact with staff (at all levels) in a fast-paced environment, sometimes under pressure, while remaining professional, flexible, proactive, resourceful, confidential and efficient. Strong decision making ability, problem analysis and solving skills. Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills with staff, students and guests in person and on the phone.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent Good physical condition, able to lift 50 lbs. safely.
