This position is ideal for an individual who enjoys hands-on work, takes initiative, and is interested in building a career in a dynamic shop environment. This role includes providing automotive and general maintenance support, facility upkeep, and assistance with other various plumbing, carpentry, metal fabrication/welding, and electrical projects. The position offers the opportunity to develop a broad range of practical skills while working alongside an experienced team. Responsibilities Assist with basic automotive maintenance and repair tasks Support general shop operations and facility upkeep Perform basic plumbing, carpentry, metal fabrication/welding, and electrical tasks Load/unload materials and deliveries Operate hand tools, power tools, and shop equipment safely and efficiently Troubleshoot and assist with equipment and maintenance issues Maintain clean, safe, and organized work areas Support daily operations and contribute to overall shop efficiency Qualifications General mechanical skills and willingness to learn Ability to lift heavy materials and work on your feet Ability to work independently and as part of a team Dependable, self-motivated, and takes initiative Interest in long-term growth and development within the company Must have your own tools Valid driver's license required - Class 'B' or 'A' is a plus What We Offer Competitive pay based on experience On-the-job training Stable, long-term employment opportunity Opportunity to develop experience across multiple trades Consistent, hands-on work with variety from day to day Health insurance 401k with company match Paid time off
