Custodial / Maintenance Worker

We are looking for a skilled Custodian/ Maintenance worker to perform upkeep tasks such as repairs and cleaning. You will be responsible for applying basic fixes to equipment and ensure facilities are tidy and functional. Being reliable with a keen eye for detail is the first step to getting this job. The ideal candidate will have experience and solid technical knowledge. You must possess manual dexterity and physical stamina. Responsibilities Perform cleaning activities such as dusting, mopping etc. Perform minor fixes and carpet cleaning. Help with painting projects. Help with install appliances and equipment Do property upkeep by collecting trash etc. Conduct maintenance tasks such as replacing light bulbs Inspect and troubleshoot equipment (e.g vacuums , snow blower) Collaborate with workers and other professionals during daily work. Report to a Facilities Manager daily for scope of work. Skills Basic knowledge of custodial and routine maintenance Experience using hand and electrical tools Very good communication and interpersonal skills Conducts all library business in a professional and cooperative manner. High school diploma or equivalent
