Mechanical Assistant - $21.26/Hr

Overview:

Assisting our Full-Time Mechanic team as they work on the coasters at the park! Must be 18 years or older and able to work at heights.

Responsibilities:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist full-time ride mechanics with their assigned tasks• Lubricating and greasing of rides and equipment• Be able to do parts cleaning, vehicle cleaning and equipment cleaning• Successfully climb ride structures and ladders• Assist full-time ride mechanics with minor ride inspections• Comply with all Six Flags Safety and Fire responsibilities, policies, and procedures• Adhere to Park attendance policy as stated in the Six Flags Handbook• Follow and complete all delegated tasks deemed by management• Adhere to

• Minimum Age 18• Must be professional, self-motivated, and have an enthusiastic attitude• Must have strong teamwork skills and the ability to work with others• Must possess strong work ethic and the ability to multi-task• Must have a valid driver's license and be able to successfully complete BBL training and OSHA training• Must possess the physical dexterity to operate hand tools and motor vehicles• Must be mechanically inclined and skilled• Must be able to work at various heights on ladders and catwalks• Must be able to supply basic hand tools
