Preschool Maintenance- Part Time

Preschool Maintenance- Part Time Kensington School is accepting applications for a preschool maintenance position. The right candidate will have experience working for a school or similar facility. Maintenance duties include, but are not limited to: monthly carpet cleaning changing lightbulbs fixing / assembly of toys & furniture painting monthly deep cleans of flooring (classrooms, bathrooms, kitchen) move furniture as needed light yard work, trash pick up perform basic plumbing experience clearing clogs, adjustments to sinks and toilets conduct minor electrical repairs changing lightbulbs, outlets

Job Requirements:

Maintenance / Custodian experience required. Experience in a school environment preferred. Must be able to lift 40lbs or more. Must be able to work outside in a different climates. Willingness to learn hands on skills Can complete tasks in a timely manner able to communicate effectively while also working independently strong problem solving skills and attention to detail Must be able to work evenings & weekends. Flexible schedule depending on work at hand. This is a year-round position with opportunities for job growth and on-site training with special projects. Yearly annual incentives.

Qualifications:

Must pass a state background check Complete a medical form/physical report References are required Compensation starts at a $20 hourly rate. This position is primarily nights and weekends. Upon hire, a probationary period working in school maintenance is required to establish knowledge of the school's needs.
