Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Worker to ensure the proper upkeep and functionality of our facilities and grounds. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and hands-on experience in construction and general repairs. As a Maintenance Worker, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks, including painting, carpentry, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, test and inspections of physical plant equipment, preventive maintenance and various janitorial duties with minimal supervision. Responsibilities Perform general maintenance tasks including repairs to buildings, fixtures, and equipment using hand tools and power tools. Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety standards and organizational policies while fostering a positive team environment. Conduct inspections and safety surveys to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulatory agencies Provide inventory and non-inventory item purchasing support Maintains facilities appearance - interior, exterior, and grounds Meet all Joint Commission, Federal, State, County, City, or other governing body status of compliance to maintain licensure and/or operating certification Participate in on-call rotation Qualifications High school diploma or GED required Trade school preferred Plant, building, equipment, and utility maintenance required 2 years Hospital maintenance experience preferred 1 year Joint Commission, Life Safety Code, and OSHA regulations experience preferred Purchasing and vendor management experience preferred
Pay:
$19.10 - $28.65 per hour
