Job Description

Maintenance Assistant Join the Northview Health and Living Team! As a Maintenance Assistant with Northview Health and Living, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our facility. Role:
In this critical position, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance tasks, repairs, and modifications to equipment, fixtures, and facilities. Your attention to detail and technical skills will help us maintain a high level of quality and safety standards. As a Maintenance Assistant, you will work closely with our facility management team to identify and address maintenance needs, perform preventive maintenance, and troubleshoot issues promptly.
Responsibilities:
Perform routine maintenance tasks, repairs, and modifications to equipment, fixtures, and facilities Identify and address maintenance needs, including reporting deficiencies to the facilities team Perform preventive maintenance and troubleshoot issues promptly Collaborate with the facilities team to prioritize and address maintenance requests Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders and inventory management Ensure compliance with safety protocols, regulations, and industry standards Participate in emergency response and crisis management as needed
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent required 0-2 years of experience in maintenance or a related field Strong technical skills and attention to detail Ability to lift 50 pounds and navigate stairs and narrow spaces Familiarity with basic hand tools and equipment maintenance Excellent communication and problem-solving skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively Ability to work on-call rotation Why Join Northview Health and Living?
