Facilities Care Team Member-Second Shift Supervisor:

Non-Exempt Summary:
The position of Facilities Care Team Member plays an important role in the daily operations of our ministry. This position works in conjunction with the facilities team to maintain a clean and orderly space for PCC's visitors and attendees. The incumbent will seek to use their personal gifts and skills to contribute to the overall effectiveness and efficiency of the church.
Qualifications:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. This individual must love God and people and have a vital, growing relationship with Jesus Christ. They are expected to actively attend or be open to attending Pathway Community Church and consider it their church home. The individual must possess strong verbal and interpersonal communication skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. They must be flexible and adaptable with scheduling, including occasional Friday evenings and Saturdays, as unexpected situations may arise. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, dependable, and able to maintain strict confidentiality regarding church operations, members, and guests. The following qualifications outline the knowledge, skills, and abilities required for this position. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Tasks are outlined by detailed work guidelines, policy, or supervision. Other duties may be assigned as deemed necessary by the supervisor. Follows and completes routine cleaning and tasks assigned by supervisor Responsible for regular shampooing and spot treatment of carpets Cleaning, repair, and upkeep of chairs to extend their life and maintain appearance Routine painting and drywall patching and repair as needed Assist with setup, teardown, and facility support for special events such as weddings, funerals, conferences and community gatherings Provides consistent weekly cleaning and maintenance of shared spaces to ensure they remain clean, organized, welcoming, and free from dirt, dust, and clutter buildup throughout the week Greets and screens on-site visitors, assesses the purpose of their visit, and directs them to the appropriate classrooms or areas; assists staff and visitors with various requests Serves as the primary point person during emergencies or varying situations by implementing and overseeing Pathway Community Church's emergency response protocols Ensure proper monitoring of all activities in the building to effectively enforce security protocols and promptly address any potential concerns, both from a safety and a housekeeping/maintenance perspective.
