Responsibilities Perform lawn care tasks including mowing, edging, fertilizing, and aerating to ensure lush, healthy turf. Maintain landscape features by pruning trees and shrubs, trimming hedges, and performing tree care activities such as planting and removal. Operate hand tools and power tools safely for tasks like planting, edging, weeding, and soil preparation. Assist with hardscape projects such as installing pathways, patios, retaining walls, and other outdoor structures. Support snow plowing operations during winter months to keep pathways safe and accessible. Maintain equipment including excavators and other construction machinery through routine inspections and basic repairs. Requirements Demonstrated mechanical knowledge with experience operating landscaping machinery and hand tools. Prior experience in lawn care, landscape maintenance, or gardening preferred. Knowledge of horticulture principles and landscape design fundamentals. Ability to perform physical tasks outdoors in various weather conditions; capable of lifting heavy objects and standing for extended periods. Familiarity with safety procedures related to power tools, construction equipment, and landscaping operations. Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills for maintaining tools and equipment. Valid driver's license; experience operating excavators or other construction machinery is a plus.
