Job Description

Join Pines Village Retirement Communities, Inc., an independent retirement community providing apartment-like senior living to our residents. We celebrate life by enriching the lives of older adults. We are seeking a Maintenance II Technician to join our growing Facilities Team. The responsibilities of Maintenance II Technician are to keep Pines Village Communities in top-notch condition by maintaining the interior and exterior of the facility. You will work under the supervision of the Facilities Director inside resident apartments for general maintenance projects, as scheduled or in an emergency. As a Maintenance II Technician you will also work to maintain scheduled/unscheduled HVAC, elevator, fire equipment, and other duties for the community. The ideal candidate will follow all regulations and company policies regarding safety, infection control, and other applicable standards. EDUCATION and/or
EXPERIENCE 3
to 5 years of maintenance experience preferably for retirement community, long-term care facility or apartment complex. 3 to 5 years of working knowledge within HVAC equipment, plumbing, electrical, general carpentry, floor care, grounds/landscaping, painting, and other general building maintenance; high school graduate preferred. Must be able to learn correct procedures/schedules, follow those procedures/schedules and to work independently with minimal supervision. Working basic knowledge of computers. Possess a valid State of Indiana driver's license; have reliable transportation and proof of automobile insurance.
