In this role, you will play an important part in ensuring the safety and functionality of guest rooms and facilities at our hotel. This is a temporary position offering approximately 10-20 hours per week. Some hours may be scheduled while other hours may be as-needed/on-call. Pay is negotiable. Duties Perform routine maintenance tasks including plumbing, electrical repairs, carpentry, and mechanical troubleshooting to keep guest rooms and facilities operational. Help will be needed at times with groundskeeping, housekeeping, and laundry. These tasks are easy to learn and training will be provided. Communicate effectively and respectfully with hotel staff and guests. Qualifications Proven experience in facilities maintenance or related fields. Hands-on experience with welding, electrical systems, plumbing, carpentry, troubleshooting and general repairs is highly desirable. Excellent communication skills for giving and receiving clear instructions with staff and guests. Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, climbing ladders, and working in confined spaces safely. Flexibility is of utmost importance as tasks and hours will vary.
