Job Description:
Job Description Performs a wide range of maintenance and equipment repair tasks for the Building Services Department. Keeps custodial equipment functional and repairs power washers and related equipment; performs preventive maintenance on equipment and motor vehicles. Does minor repair and installations of restroom hardware; does minor carpentry, electrical and plumbing repairs.

  • Repair, maintains, and replace parts and adjust equipment including all floor equipment, pumps, power operated sweepers and blowers. Services and repairs power washers and related pumps and equipment. 20
  • Installs and repair restroom fixtures such as soap, tissue, and paper towels dispensers. Repairs and services chemical dispensing systems. 20
  • Make minor repair to Building Services motor vehicles and preform preventative maintenance checks on equipment used in Building Services operations. 20
  • Maintains records and advises management of deficiency needs for repair or replacement. Keeps equipment and parts records. 20
  • Preforms any other miscellaneous or general maintenance task required by the Building Services Department.
Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
Two years of experience or training in the building construction trades, building maintenance, maintenance or repair of mechanical equipment, or park operations and grounds maintenance; OR Completion of a two-year vocational technical program in general building construction, construction technology, or engineering; OR Twelve semester hours in construction management, construction technology, or engineering, or any combination of these courses.
Special or Physical Qualifications:
This position requires a valid driver's license, will require an MVR, and is subject to drug screens per
PM-33/PS-67/FASOP HR-04.
This position is classified as a safety and security-sensitive position. These positions are subject to drug screens per
PS-67/FASOP HR-04.
This position is considered emergency essential and may be required to report to campus in times of emergency and/or closure per PS-18.
