As a HomemakerCompanion, you will play an important role in supporting local clients by maintaining a clean living environment, preparing meals, and providing meaningful companionship. A homemakercompanion helps ensure clients live in a clean, safe, and comfortable environment. This role includes completing light housekeeping duties, preparing meals, and providing companionship to individuals in their homes. Essential Functions
Carries out a variety of homemaking tasks, including but not limited to vacuuming, dusting, sweeping or mopping floors, washing dishes, changing linens, doing laundry, and cleaning bathrooms.
Prepares meals and light snacks based on provided instructions and may assist with grocery shopping as needed.
Offers companionship and social support, such as accompanying clients on walks, attending social or recreational activities, or assisting with hobbies and interests.
Qualifications
High school diploma or G.E.D. preferred.
Must successfully complete a written competency evaluation.
Able to read, write, speak, and understand English as required for the position.
Must have a valid driver's license and access to a reliable, insured vehicle or dependable transportation.
