Job Description
Job Duties:
Directs skilled workers in repairing, painting, general maintenance, etc. of existing buildings and facilities at the park. Conducts scheduled inspections of buildings, grounds, vehicles, and equipment. Inspects work in progress and provides guidance to maintenance staff on job sites. Makes estimates of cost of labor and materials. Implements the execution of routine & preventative maintenance programs such as prioritization, planning, scheduling, and adjusting work projects to maximize customer service and efficient and effective operations Maintains proper inventory of supplies and equipment and performs servicing and repairs on equipment as needed. Regularly inspects property for safety and security issues including, but not limited to, non-functioning lights, trip hazards, broken fences, exposed wiring, pot holes, landscaping issues, etc. Trains staff in proper chemical and equipment usage, proper facility preparation, facility maintenance, etc. Performs any and all custodial duties as needed to maintain clean and sanitary conditions, to include but not limited to, cabins, meeting rooms, bathhouses, pavilions, etc. Assists with cleaning and disinfecting facilities, mopping, sweeping, strip linens, stock cabins, remove trash and debris, etc.Position-Specific Details:

State Parks are open 365 days a year. Position will work a rotating schedule of 40 hours/week, which can include holidays and/or weekends as needed, to ensure coverage at the park.Travel:
Position requires driving around the park as part of the daily shift. Travel may be required to other state parks to assist in staffing or events, as needed. A state vehicle is available for employee use while on duty. How toApply:
