• Provide high quality care in accordance with state and local protocols
• Respond to emergency and scheduled medical calls
• Perform patient assessments and document care accurately in the electronic patient care reporting system
• Operate and maintain ambulance equipment and supplies
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, dispatch, hospital staff, and other providers
• Maintain professionalism and accountability in all interactions Compensation and Schedule

Qualifications

• Current Louisiana or National Registry EMT certification
• Current CPR certification (AHA or equivalent)
• Valid Louisiana driver's license with acceptable driving record
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work varying shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays Physical and Mental Requirements
