4/8/2026 Job Summary The Site Maintenance role oversees the daily operations, maintenance, safety, security and overall functionality of the assigned property in Andover, MA. This position ensures that all facilities, grounds, structures, and program areas are well-maintained, safe, and welcoming for customers, volunteers, and staff. At times, this role may be needed at other locations to assist with high priority seasonal needs. This position coordinates site usage, manages repair and maintenance activities, supports program delivery, and serves as the primary on-stie customer service representative.Job Qualifications Required:
- Minimum age of 21 years by date of hire.
- Minimum of three years of experience in construction trades or camp/facility maintenance and/or other diverse work experience that showcases the ability to manage themselves independently, on a schedule per the positions need (e.g. carpentry, electric, plumbing, mechanical, etc.).
- Demonstrated ability to safely use power tools and operate machinery such as tractors, mowers, plows, chainsaws.
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds, climb ladders, work at heights above 6 feet, and perform regular physical labor.
- Valid driver's license required for travel and operational duties.
- Ability and willingness to work a flexible schedule and to travel throughout the council service area as needed.
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision; self-motivated and eager to learn new skills.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to respond professionally to diverse groups.
- Clear and effective oral and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated competence in managing financial resources and maintaining accurate records.
- Ability to effectively identify, analyze and solve practical problems and successfully manage a variety of variables and personalities; ability to adapt in a changing environment. Preferred-
- Girl Scout property experience a plus.
