Job Description
Overview Join our dynamic maintenance team as a Maintenance Worker and play a vital role in ensuring the safety, functionality, and aesthetic appeal of our facilities and outdoor spaces. This energetic position offers the opportunity to engage in a variety of tasks, from landscaping and lawn care to equipment maintenance and construction projects. Duties Perform landscape maintenance including mowing, tree trimming, gardening, and planting to keep outdoor areas vibrant and healthy. Operate hand tools, power tools, excavators, and other equipment safely and efficiently for various maintenance projects. Conduct lawn care activities such as edging, aerating, fertilizing, and irrigation system adjustments to promote lush greenery. Maintain hardscape features including pathways, patios, retaining walls, and other outdoor structures. Assist with snow plowing during winter months to ensure safe access around the property. Support construction or repair projects involving fencing, signage, or other infrastructure improvements. Perform routine inspections of facilities and outdoor spaces to identify maintenance needs or safety hazards. Requirements Proven mechanical knowledge with experience using hand tools, power tools, and landscaping equipment such as mowers, trimmers, and excavators. Knowledge of landscape maintenance practices including horticulture principles and tree care techniques. Ability to perform lawn care tasks such as mowing, edging, fertilizing, and irrigation system management. Experience with snow plowing operations during winter seasons. Strong understanding of construction processes related to hardscape installation or repairs. Familiarity with gardening techniques and landscape design principles. Excellent physical stamina for outdoor work in various weather conditions; ability to lift heavy objects and operate machinery safely.
