Job Description

Camp Ketcha is actively hiring staff for Part-Time Facilities & Maintenance Assistant Ketcha Outdoors is a year-round charitable non-profit organization serving the southern Maine community with programs in youth development, family enrichment, and summer day camping. We strive to get children, youth and families outdoors on our 107 acres of meadows, forests, streams, and wetlands to appreciate what nature has to offer. Work with us and get outside and have fun! At Camp Ketcha we hire over 70 Summer Camp staff to lead our students and our programs in our dynamic day camp set on 107 acres of fields, woods, marsh and wetlands in Scarborough, Maine. We are looking for a hands-on individual to assist our Facilities Manager with the upkeep, cleaning and maintenance of our buildings and property. Responsibilities Perform general maintenance and repair projects Assist with painting, light carpentry, and routine building upkeep Complete seasonal outdoor tasks, including landscaping Handle miscellaneous facility and property improvement projects as needed Help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for staff and visitors Qualifications Must be 18 years of age or older Experience with general maintenance, repairs, and basic hand and power tools Working knowledge of basic electrical, plumbing, and carpentry tasks Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently Valid driver's license required Ability to lift and carry 50 pounds + and perform physical tasks throughout the workday throughout our 107 acres through uneven terrain and trails.
Schedule:
June 15- August 26 Monday-Friday 2-5pm with additional duties & hours offered
Pay:
From $18.00 per hour
